Old inquiries + past customers
There may be another conversation in that old lead list.
Lead reactivation gives appropriate past inquiries and unsold estimates a thoughtful next step. We help service businesses review the list, choose a relevant reason to reconnect, and make sure interested replies reach someone who can help.
Old leads are not all the same
An unanswered estimate from last month is different from a customer who bought two years ago. A useful reactivation plan separates those groups instead of sending one message to everyone. The reason for reaching out should make sense to the person receiving it.
We start by reviewing where records came from, when the last interaction happened, what was requested, and whether further contact is appropriate. Purchased lists, missing context and contacts who have opted out are not a shortcut to a healthy campaign.
Choose a reason to reconnect that is actually true
The best starting point may be an open question: is the original project still relevant? A past customer may instead need a timely service reminder, if that fits the relationship. We do not invent discounts, limited availability or a previous conversation to manufacture urgency.
You approve the audience and message before anything is sent. We define who receives replies, how a booking is handled, and when a person should take over. A polite decline should close the loop, not trigger a harder sales sequence.
Use a limited first campaign to learn
A small, clearly defined segment makes it easier to check whether the message is relevant and whether your team can handle the replies. The first campaign should test the process as well as the offer. Clean up duplicates, review suppression lists and confirm the contact path before expanding.
Message volume, sending tools, channel permissions and ongoing costs are agreed during scoping. Reply handling matters: a warm response left unanswered is another missed opportunity, even if the original campaign looked successful.
Separate activity from business results
Track the number of eligible contacts, messages sent, replies, qualified conversations, bookings and confirmed sales. Record declines and opt-outs too. A reply is not a booking, and a booking is not collected revenue.
Compare confirmed outcomes with the campaign and fulfillment costs. If the list is too old, the offer no longer fits or the business cannot respond, reactivation may not be the best first investment. We would rather establish that during the review than sell a campaign on a revenue promise.
Before we start
Old-lead reactivation questions
Is lead reactivation the same as cold outreach?
No. Reactivation starts with an existing inquiry or customer relationship. The history and reason for reconnecting should guide the message. It is not a way to disguise a purchased cold list.
Can you work with old quotes and estimates?
Yes. The review identifies which records still make sense to contact, what the original request was and who should handle an interested reply.
How much revenue will it recover?
There is no honest fixed answer before a list and offer are reviewed, and no guaranteed outcome afterward. We track qualified conversations, bookings and confirmed sales separately.
What do I need to get started?
An overview of your list size, its source, the age of the records and your previous follow-up process. Start with a conversation; do not send sensitive customer exports before the handling arrangements are agreed.
